renee barreto

Hello!

I’m Renee Barreto (she/her) and I am an Embodied Operations Strategist, learner, and cultural worker. Wielding 10+ years of experience in operations and strategic development, I partner with individuals and organizations to operationalize post-capitalist values in business practices and creative projects.

My work and life is guided by Audre Lorde’s fundamental question, “who are you, and how are you using the powers of that self in the service of what you believe?”

“I write for those women who do not speak, for those who do not have a voice because they/we were so terrified, because we are taught to respect fear more than ourselves. We’ve been taught that silence would save us, but it won’t. We must learn to respect ourselves and our needs more than the fear of our differences, and we must learn to share ourselves with each other.” - Audre Lorde, in Black Women Writers at Work
